Overview

WorkSafe Victoria (WorkSafe), in collaboration with key stakeholders, has prepared the proposed Workplace facilities, amenities and work environment compliance code (proposed code) on behalf of the Victorian Government.

The code provides practical guidance for those who have duties and obligations in relation to the provision of facilities at workplaces under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (OHS Act) and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (OHS Regulations).

Employers, employees, other interested parties and members of the public are invited to make submissions on the proposed code now available for public comment.

All feedback provided during public comment will be considered and applied where appropriate.
