Overview

The Department of Families Fairness and Housing is reviewing its policies about how it manages Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) that it owns.

Your feedback is important to us and will make our policies better.

These policies are for department staff, but they also give clear and transparent information to residents, their families and support networks, and SIL providers, about how the department will manage SDA.

When completed the policies will be publicly available on the department's website.

How to participate

The draft SDA policies have been divided into 4 manuals you can see below. The manuals are also available in Easy English and Plain English versions. You can access these versions by selecting the relevant tab above.

You can provide feedback on all the manuals or just the ones you are most interested in.

There are three ways you can participate in this consultation and tell us what is important to you:

1. Click on the manuals and take the surveys - follow the links below to read the manuals that interest you and complete the survey questions. You should complete a new survey for each manual that you are interested in.

2. Upload a submission – you can provide a written submission. Click the 'Choose file' button below to upload a submission.

3. Email your feedback - you can also give your feedback by sending a written submission to myhome@homes.vic.gov.au.
