The Department of Education and Training is undertaking an independent review of the Victorian College for the Deaf to examine the professional practice of the College and determine ways of improving outcomes for all students enrolled.
The review is being undertaken by a trained school reviewer and overseen by a panel chaired by an independent expert, with representation from the Deaf community.
We encourage parents, students, current and former staff of the Victorian College for the Deaf and the broader Deaf community to contribute to the consultation process to ensure any recommendations are based on a thorough understanding of the community’s needs, concerns and aspirations for the future.
The Review Panel will consider your feedback in the development of recommendations that will help position the school for success into the future.
We’re seeking your feedback from 3 December until 16 December.
