Victoria Police is committed to transforming our service delivery to better meet population growth, changes in society, and increasingly complex crime themes. Our new model will ensure operational efficiencies, improved community accessibility and greater focus on prevention.
We want to hear from you:
Victoria Police is undertaking the planning process to develop our future service delivery model and are seeking feedback from the community and our partners to help us make Victoria a safer place.
We want to know more about what’s important to you, which services you want Victoria Police to prioritise, and how we can better provide those services now and into the future.
Together, we will develop innovative and workable solutions that meet community needs and expectations.
You told us that you want to see an increased police presence and more community engagement and we’re listening.
As part of our ongoing commitment to engage and consult with the community, we will hold/run a roadshow across the state to deliver a number of community meetings and workshops in Melbourne and regional Victoria to further explore issues and opportunities for improvement.
The interactive roadshow events will explore some key themes and recommendations highlighted in the community survey, whilst also focusing on local concerns and feedback from our partner agencies. They are an opportunity to co-design a policing service to keep all Victorians safe, ensure all Victorians have access to the same high-quality policing services, and improve our processes to better work for you and your community.
Roadshow locations & dates will be detailed on this site and will also be advertised on Victoria Police Eyewatch pages via Facebook and through local media. All events will be COVIDsafe and some will be conducted online, using technology to keep us connected, even in the midst of a pandemic. We invite all community members to come along to the roadshow events and share your views to help guide our modernisation efforts so that we remain a police force you can trust and rely on, well into the future.
If you can’t attend a local roadshow event or have something you want to raise in the meantime, please send your service delivery ideas to Service Delivery Transformation Command at email@example.com. You can also find out more about what we do by visiting the Victoria Police website for regular updates.
