It has been a shocking year so far on Victoria’s roads, with a significant increase in road deaths compared with the same time last year.

Much of the increase has happened on regional Victoria roads. Tragically, it is country people dying on country roads - more than two thirds of people killed on country Victorian roads this year, have died within 30 kilometres of their home.

Regional Victorians have the opportunity to share and hear ideas on how to improve road safety in their area at a series of community forums currently being hosted across the state and through this online consultation.
