The Victorian Government has completed the review of civil fees for the Supreme Court of Victoria (Supreme Court).

The Supreme Court (Fees) Regulations 2018 commenced on 30 September 2018 and prescribe the new fees payable in the Supreme Court.

After consulting the community on the proposed new civil fees for the Supreme Court, feedback was received and assessed.

After considering all feedback, the Government decided that the Supreme Court (Fees) Regulations 2018 should be made, with amendments. Details of the changes that were made following the consultation process are set out in the Notice of Decision, issued by the Attorney-General (pursuant to section 12 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
