The Department of Health and Human Services have requested the Minister for Planning change the planning scheme provisions for the Gronn Place Estate in Brunswick West. The Minister for Planning has referred the proposal to the Social Housing Renewal Standing Advisory Committee.
Submissions for this proposal were collected between 2 August and 30 August 2017.
Development Plan Overlay Schedule
At the Directions Hearings held on 7 September 2017, the Committee sought advice from DHHS relating to inconsistencies between the Design Framework Plans and the schedule to the Development Plan Overlay which was publicly exhibited.
An overview of these errors can be found online at planning.vic.gov.au/shrp. As a result of these errors, the Standing Advisory Committee has directed that a further submission period is to occur to enable affected parties to address the changes to the Development Plan Overlay.
All revised or new submissions will be accepted until 10.00am, 2 October 2017 and must only address the changes to the Development Plan Overlay Schedules.
New submissions should advise if the submitter seeks to be heard by the Standing Advisory Committee at its Public Hearing. If so, the reserve day of 12 October 2017 will be made available for submitters to be heard if they cannot be accommodated on the days already scheduled.
The Committee will hold a Public Hearing from Monday 2 October 2017. If you lodged a submission and noted that you wish to be heard at the Public Hearing, you will have been notified by Planning Panels Victoria with details about your allocated time, and venue.
The Timetable for the Public Hearing can be viewed in the Document Library on this page or on the Social Housing Renewal Standing Advisory Committee page.
