Overview

Safer Care Victoria is developing an Evidence based guidance strategy that describes best practice and supports Victorian health services to deliver safe, high-quality care and experiences for patients, families and carers. The strategy will outline Safer Care Victoria’s approach to providing evidence based guidance and reduce unwarranted variation within Victorian healthcare services. The draft strategy:

  • outlines how evidence based guidance supports Safer Care Victoria’s purpose and framework for improving quality
  • describes Safer Care Victoria’s role within the broader context of evidence based guidance provision
  • identifies the core principles and process that will underpin our evidence based guidance capability.

We are asking you to review the draft strategy and provide your feedback, which will inform the final evidence based guidance strategy that will be released in June 2019.
