The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA), as Victoria’s education and training regulator, is reviewing the evidence requirements all schools and VCE/VCAL providers produce as part of their review and/or registration and reregistration.
Every school in Victoria is reviewed at least every five years. Schools are reviewed against the Minimum Standards for Registration as outlined in the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017.
To help schools and education providers demonstrate compliance with the Minimum Standards, within our guidelines we publish evidence guides for each standard.
We are calling on the education community to help us review our evidence guides so that they:
- are clear, up-to-date and reflect contemporary practice
- reduce the regulatory burden at a school and provider level
- support the provision of quality education.
The online consultation period has concluded, and we are now considering and analysing your submissions.
Thanks to those who provided feedback.
A summary of the feedback we received will be published on this website during August 2018.
