Overview

The Metro Tunnel Project is one of the largest transport infrastructure projects ever undertaken in Australia. It will deliver nine kilometre twin rail tunnels from Kensington to South Yarra as part of a new end-to-end Sunbury to Cranbourne / Pakenham line. New underground stations will also be built at Arden, Parkville, and Anzac (on St Kilda Road) and two new stations in the CBD precinct.

Following extensive community engagement, Development Plans for the Parkville and Domain Precincts were approved by the Minister for Planning in March and April 2018, respectively. Following these approvals, detailed design on both Parkville Station and Anzac Station has continued.

CYP Design & Construction has prepared an amended draft Parkville Precinct Development Plan and draft Domain Precinct Development Plan, which include site layout plans, architectural, and landscape and public realm plans, for the works required at Parkville Station in Parkville and Anzac Station on St Kilda Road.
