Overview

Construction of Melbourne Airport Rail has been planned to take place over several years and in stages along the whole length of the rail corridor between Sunshine Station and the new Airport station. All works on these sites will be carefully planned and managed to make sure residents can continue to enjoy where they live, and businesses can continue to operate.

Construction for Melbourne Airport Rail will involve the following impacts:

  • Noise and vibration
  • Dust
  • Traffic and detours
  • Local areas being used for laydown of equipment and storage of materials
  • Vegetation removal

For more information about the potential impacts and how we are planning to manage them, please view the fact sheets and provide your feedback below.
