Overview

Planning approval for this project will proceed under Clause 52.03 – Level Crossing Removal Project of the Boroondara and Whitehorse Planning Scheme.

LXRP is seeking community feedback on a range of planning matters, including:

  • Project boundary
  • Construction-related impacts
  • Environmental impacts
  • Amenity impacts
  • Native vegetation
  • Heritage.

All feedback received will be summarised and included in a consultation report. This report will inform the Minister for Planning’s assessment of the project under Clause 52.03.

Planning submissions can be made until 11.59pm Sunday 14 February 2021.

Collection notice

On behalf of the Victorian Government, the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) is removing 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2025. As part of this project we are consulting with local community members about the impact of any changes to the planning scheme required by the works.

LXRP collects your personal information through this survey in order to help ensure the integrity of survey responses. A summary of the responses will be collected into a report to be shared with other parts of government but will not contain information which could identify you.

LXRP will not disclose your personal information without your consent, except to the extent outlined above or where required to do so by law. If you wish to complete the form anonymously, we will consider what you have raised but will not be able to contact you to further discuss your submission or to follow up on concerns. We also may not be able to identify your submission if you wish to access it. You may contact LXRP to request access or correction to any personal information you have provided to us by emailing LXRP-FOI@levelcrossings.vic.gov.au.
