CLOSED: This survey has concluded.
We're removing the level crossing at Cherry Street in Werribee by building a new road bridge connecting Tarneit Road to Princes Highway.
We’ll also build a new underpass and plaza to provide a safe crossing for pedestrians and cyclists to move around and open space for the community to enjoy.
To enhance the look and feel of the underpass and plaza areas, artwork will be incorporated into the paving. This will be done towards the end of the project as part of the finishing touches.
The artwork will be developed using personal stories and experiences from the Werribee community, resulting in a design which reflects and celebrates the local area.
Contemporary Artist Richard Briggs has been selected to produce the artwork. His simplified line drawings explore communities, encouraging the viewer to look at streets and places in a different way.
If you would like to help shape the artwork and share your story, please fill in any or all of the questions below by 5pm Friday 22 May.
