Overview

The Gippsland Regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy development is part of the state wide program being supported by DELWP. These Regional Adaptation Strategies will guide priority climate change adaptation actions at the regional scale for the next five years. The strategy has been divided into the following 10 focus areas (in no particular order): Natural Environment, Water, Cultural Heritage and Cultural Values, Emergencies and Emergency Management, Agriculture, Health and Human Services, Built Environment, Community, Knowledge and Regional Economy.

Once finalised at the end of June 2021 this strategy will provide support to the Gippsland community to further adapt to climate change.
