The Victorian Government is seeking your input about the healthcare services you and your family use, what’s important to you and what you value in the future.

The government has invested $2.4 million to plan the new Melton Hospital, which will increase access to high-quality health services in the west.

We are determining the number, type and range of services, and how they will link into other healthcare facilities in the region, including Djerriwarrh Health Service, Sunbury health services, Sunshine Hospital and the new Footscray Hospital.

Western Health, one of Victoria’s largest public health service providers, will operate the proposed cutting-edge 24-hour hospital in Melton.

Western Health delivers a combination of hospital and community-based services to more than 900,000 people across sites in Melbourne’s west – including the new Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s at Sunshine Hospital, and the planned $1.5 billion new Footscray Hospital.

We’re inviting you to share your experiences using the current health services available to you. Your valuable feedback and input will help shape planning for the proposed Melton Hospital so you and your family can get the care you need, when and where you need it.

The survey has now closed. Thank you for your contributions.
