The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) wants your feedback about the future use of the former Kyneton Primary School at 7-15 Baynton Street.
Do you have ideas about what services, organisations or activities you would like to see at the site?
Do you have suggestions about a future management model for the use of the former Kyneton Primary School site that would be viable and offer a range of uses that are responsive to the local community’s needs?
The Victorian Government has committed to keeping the former Kyneton Primary School site, including buildings, publicly owned. The 1.3-hectare site in the centre of Kyneton includes heritage buildings, an extension built in the 1980’s and a large outdoor green space that adjoins the Town Square.
This engagement will build on the community consultation undertaken by Macedon Ranges Shire Council in 2017 and 2018.
The feedback and ideas you provide will be used to develop reasonable and realistic priorities for the site, including a financially sustainable management model. These priorities will be used to develop recommendations to the Minister on the future use and management of the site.
As well as this survey, DELWP is talking directly with key stakeholders and interest groups.
This survey closes on 5 October 2018.
As well as completing this survey, you can also make an appointment to talk to us face-to-face. To make an appointment, please call 03 5430 4444.
