Overview
WorkSafe Victoria, in collaboration with key stakeholders, is undertaking the review of the First aid in the workplace compliance code 2008 on behalf of the Victorian Government.
The First aid in the workplace compliance code (First aid code) provides practical guidance to employers on how to comply with their duty to provide and maintain, so far as is reasonably practicable, a working environment that is safe and without risks to health.
The First aid code has been updated following technical review and extensive stakeholder consultation to reference the current state of knowledge and better reflect Victorian work practices.
