Overview

Overview

Cowwarr Primary School was significantly damaged by an electrical fault fire in January 2020. The main building, along with the library and the amenities building were destroyed.

The Victorian Government has committed to rebuilding the school.

Following consultation with the community in March, feedback was given to the architects so they could begin work on designing the rebuild of Cowwarr Primary School.

After close consultation with the principal and school, we are delighted to announce the release of masterplan images for the rebuild.

The school will include office and administration spaces, staff centre, gallery, practical activities area and two classroom spaces.

You can find more information on the project, including the images here.

Next Steps

Once the modular construction company has been appointed, they will begin the process to rebuild Cowwarr Primary School.
