The public consultation closed on 13 December 2020. Thank you to everyone who took the time to contribute their feedback and ideas. All of the feedback received was analysed and a summary of the findings is available below.
Parks Victoria was seeking community input to understand the future usage and requirements of the Banksia Bluff activity centre at Cape Conran Coastal Park, which was burnt during the 19/20 summer bushfires and will need to be rebuilt.
The activity centre was a much-loved amenity providing an educational area for the Junior Ranger program, schools and other special interest groups.
It also provided a valuable undercover recreation area and a central meeting place for campers and visitors alike.

The map below indicates the location of the activity centre within the Banksia Bluff Campground that was destroyed in the bushfires. It is located on Banksia Bluff Road, approx 50 metres from the park entrance and situated approx 200 metres northeast of Loop A of the campground.
