Overview

The Victorian Government’s Car Parks for Commuters program is working to deliver more station car parking across the network.

We are upgrading the car parks at Eltham, Merlynston and Wattle Glen stations. This will free up local streets and make it easier for passengers to catch the train.

At Eltham, this is being delivered in partnership with the Australian Government's Urban Congestion Fund.

Commuters will benefit from new and upgraded car parks, accessible parking, lighting, CCTV, bicycle facilities and landscaping.

The projects are being delivered by the Level Crossing Removal Project through the Car Parks for Commuters program. The program is helping to deliver the Victorian Government’s commitment of 11,000 new and upgraded car parks at train stations across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
