Active Victoria is the Victorian Government’s strategic framework for sport and recreation, providing the vision and strategic directions that guide Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV)’s activities and investment in support of the sector.

Sport and Recreation Victoria is undertaking a refresh of Active Victoria in 2021 to ensure that it reflects community attitudes and expectations relating to participation in sport and active recreation. It outlines the Victorian Government’s priorities for program and infrastructure planning and delivery to drive participation outcomes.

Next steps

The feedback from the consultation will be consolidated to help inform the refresh of Active Victoria. Subject to consultation outcomes, it is anticipated that a refreshed Active Victoria strategy will be released in second half of 2021.
